As the Hardscape Field Manager your responsibilities will include; Overseeing, training, and motivating the work of a 2 to 4 member crew. Hands-on work required with crew members to complete projects in budget. Operation of a variety of landscape construction equipment such as: skid Loader, small track machine, chopsaw/grinder, compactor, etc. Coordinating with Project Manager on new projects to determine scope of work, equipment and material needs. As the Softscape Field Manager your responsibilities will include; Reading and execution of contracted scope of installation projects. Installation of softscape (plantings, lawns, irrigation, and hardscapes) digging, tilling, planting, raking, watering and clean-up of landscapes. Load and unload heavy equipment and planting materials from trucks including bagged and bulk material. Handling schedule and monitor daily work loads of employees. Truck and Trailer standardization with cleanliness, Communicate daily with Production Manager on progress and planning with technology use. Daily start up and shut down procedures. As the Maintenance Field Manager your responsibilities will include; training your crew members, mowing, pruning operations, weed control (use of chemicals and hand-pulling), trash pick-up, leaf removal, turf spraying applications, aeration and over seeding, maintaining a clean truck, and ensuring all members of the team adhere to established safety standards.
